Heavy motorcycle handling

Home » Better Riding » Heavy motorcycle handling

Slow Riding takes a whole new meaning when combined with turning a heavy motorcycle.
For handling a heavy motorcycle such as a Harley Davidson Fat Boy or an Indian Dark Horse model at slow speed successfully, you need to use all the 3 controls in a coordinated fashion: clutch lever, rear brake pedal and accelerator (as needed). Heavy motorcycles practice demands concentration and control. If the clutch lever, rear brake pedal and accelerator are used optimally, then you can learn to handle a heavy bike easily.
