After delighting us with its 200 and 390 Duke offerings, KTM has brought us yet another high performance motorcycle – this time it’s much bigger and more powerful. Yes, we are talking about their new 800cc flagship motorcycle – the parallel-twin engined 790 Duke! Enough with the big singles, eh? The all new middleweight naked will be KTM India’s largest offering yet.
At the core of the KTM 790 Duke is the compact, all-new LC8c parallel twin motor housed into one of the lightest and most compact chassis. The new engine boasts of exceptional efficiency with class-leading power and torque. A large dose of the bike’s agility comes from the deftness of its lightweight chassis.
This is exactly the kind of motorcycle you should buy if cornering agility and super quick acceleration is what you desire.

The 790 Duke is one of the lightest machines in its class, with a weight of just 189 KG and a maximum power output of 105HP, giving it an excellent power-to-weight ratio of 545 bhp per tonne. Explosive performance? Check.
It also comes with a host of electronics such as traction control. cornering ABS, wheelie control and a bi-directional quickshifter.
KTM is expected to take the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route for this bike. This will keep prices under ₹ 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The expected launch price for the KTM 790 Duke is between 7.5-8.5 Lakhs.
